Levitra, whose chemical name is vardenafil, relaxes blood vessels and muscles in the male sex organ. The evaluation of Levitra was done in trials that were quite randomized and placebo-controlled. More than 2,000 men had participated in those trials. 10 mg tablet of Levitra is recommended to take 60 minutes before getting involved in sexual activity. Patients that do not get adequate response from 10 mg table are then switched to a higher dose of 20 mg. Levitra is also available in lower doses of 2.5 mg and 5 mg.
